Hi! We are Ron and Tammy of Weinke World Adventures. We love to take cruises, and this time, we are sailing out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We always book a hotel for the night before our cruise, and in this video we will show you where we chose to stay in Fort Lauderdale! It was a real winner... close to the beach, and downtown: Kimpton Shorebreak Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort. (Member of IHG family- we we used our reward night from their credit card for this one!) They have an amazing roof-top heated pool and bar (with food) where the views of the city and Intracoastal Waterway are just gorgeous! There is also another heated pool and bar on the lower level next to an Italian restaurant, La Fuga, offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Some of the amenities included (with a resort fee) are: in-room yoga mats and beach bags, internet, fitness center, yoga classes on the beach, beach chairs, 2 hour bike rental, beach transport, boogie boards, Pets are allowed, bottled water.
