Royal Caribbean Jewel of the Seas Southern Cruise from San Juan - Condado Beach & Embarkation day

Carnival Cruise Platinum members trying our first Royal Cruise!!! We tried to do a similar itinerary twice but Hurricane Maria and the Covid cancelled them both and Carnival doesn't do this itinerary anymore. We flew from Chicago to San Juan on Black Friday and had a nice beach afternoon and walked around in the evening. Then I went running in San Juan the next morning, more beach time, then off to the ship! Embarkation was an absolute breeze!!!! We got on the boat at the Old San Juan terminal, had lunch and checked out our room, then went to Old San Juan for a drink, to find a geocache and get some beverages (soda, sparkling water) for our room. Then back on board, pool time, dinner, did 278 pcs of a 300 piece puzzle in the library, explored some more, sail away party and ended with donuts!!! All video done by iphone or GoPro.
