--~-- In an expected move, Royal Caribbean and Norwegian have extended their pause in operations until August 1. Also included in this are Royal Caribbean Cruise Ltd.’s subsidiaries, including Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Club Cruises. Oceania Cruises, and Regent Seven Seas Cruises all fall under the Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings umbrella. Virgin is pushed back to October 16. Confirming that Royal Caribbean’s ships would now be passenger-free through July, an exec stated that the one exception to this was the China marketplace which may open sooner. Also this morning on Travel and Cruise Industry News, May 21, 2020, Royal Caribbean’s Adventure of the Seas has finally been allowed to dock in Jamaica after issues between the government and the cruise line.
