Saga Ruby being towed from City Cruise Terminal for repairs 8th Jan 2013

A broken sad looking Saga Ruby is towed from City Cruise Terminal today just after 14:00pm to 40 berth and was alongside about 15:15pm where she will be having repairs done to her crankshaft she was due to sail yesterday 7th Jan 2013 at 20:00pm on a world cruise but engine problems stopped that for the time being and the repairs will take about a week or two maybe the sooner the repairs are done the sooner she can leave Southampton and keep booked passengers happy, they were told to stay at home and be contacted later for their cruise. Saga Ruby was towed with assistance of tugs Wyestorm and Vortex. In Saga Ruby's lifetime she was built by Swan Hunter as the Vistafjord 1973 - 1999, RMS Caronia 1999 - 2004, and finally MS Saga Ruby in 2004 and onwards to this date.
