Wednesday 23rd January 2013 saw the switching between berths of Saga Cruises' "Saga Ruby" which has been in Southampton Docks with a broken crankshaft since January 7th. Originally scheduled to depart from the 'City' Cruise Terminal/Berth 101 on the 7th, "Saga Ruby" was moved to Berth 40 between the 'Ocean' & 'QEII' Terminals on the 8th so that Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines' "Black Watch" could use the Terminal on the 10th. She has remained there until the 23rd so that fellow Saga ship "Saga Sapphire" could also use the berth on the 22nd (having been delayed by 24 hours because of the weather). Finally, at 14:00 on the 23rd, "Saga Ruby" was moved back from Berth 40 to the 'City' Terminal with the assistance of tugs "Phenix" & "Wyestorm". "Saga Ruby" now has a revised World Voyage to South Africa and is scheduled to depart on Wednesday 20th February.
