"Saga Sapphire" & "Oriana" depart from Southampton - 28/03/2013

Thursday 28th March 2013 saw what is soon to be the start of the main cruising season for Southampton with two of the regular winter-season ships in port together. Saga Cruises's "Saga Sapphire" returned from her cruise that started on the 12th and was once again docked at the 'City' Terminal. She was joined by P&O Cruises's "Oriana" who was unusually docked in the 'Ocean' Terminal rather than her usual place at the 'Mayflower'. Departure times for the ships were for "Saga Sapphire" to depart at 16:00 with "Oriana" at 16:30. "Saga Sapphire" left at around 16:12 heading for Funchal, Maderia with "Oriana" departing at around 17:12 heading for Vigo. Both ships are due to be in again on Sunday 14th April (101st Anniversary of the "Titanic" sinking) along with "Oriana's" fleetmates "Ventura" and "Arcadia". Viewed from the Town Quay.
