However, it was still an extensive amount of walking and included plenty of hills. There are "hop on, hop off" buses and plenty of other public transportation. If you aren't into walking, I would suggest that. Solo travelers: I felt very safe wandering around on my own, but I did avoid areas that were known to have safety problems. I also did not stay during the evening, but took two day trips into the city. If you plan to stay within the city and want to explore at night, just make sure you do some research to make sure you stay in safe areas. 0:00 Intro 2:17 Salesforce Park 3:03 Rincon Park 3:17 Ferry Building 3:41 Transamerica Pyramid 4:05 Chinatown 4:45 Coit Tower 5:43 Fisherman's Wharf 6:39 Golden Gate Bay Cruise 7:14 Ghirardelli Square 7:44 Aquatic Park Cove 8:08 Fort Mason 8:48 Wave Organ 9:59 Land's End Lookout & Trail 10:48 Palace of Fine Art 10:26 The Presidio 12:03 Yoda Statue 12:23 Painted Ladies and Alamo Square 13:08 Lombard Street 13:49 Golden Gate Park 14:26 Beautiful Architecture
