San Remo Was Beautiful... Getting There Was Absolute CHAOS! | Marella Discovery 2

IWelcome back for Day 3 of our Highlights of the Mediterranean cruise aboard Marella Discovery 2! 🚢☀️ Today we're arriving at the beautiful Italian Riviera town of San Remo... but before we even set foot ashore, things take an unexpected turn. This is a tender port, and what should have been a simple trip quickly descends into a surprisingly chaotic experience! Was it worth the wait? You'll have to watch and decide. Once we finally make it ashore, San Remo completely wins us over. We take you through the charming Old Town, visit the famous Casino di Sanremo, and share one of our favourite discoveries of the day – a fantastic rooftop bar with breathtaking panoramic views across the coastline, the town and Marella Discovery 2. If you're planning a visit, this is one tip you won't want to miss! Back on board, it's time to see what's on the menu. We enjoy lunch in Islands Buffet before heading to Piccadilly's for dinner... where some rather unusual dishes appear on the table! Did they impress us, or leave us wondering what the chef was thinking? Our opinions were definitely divided! The evening entertainment proves to be one of the highlights of the cruise as we watch The Greatest, an energetic Irish pub-themed production packed with fantastic singing, dancing and enough feel-good moments to have everyone clapping along. It's easily one of our favourite theatre shows on Marella Discovery 2. To round off the evening, Dave and I finally take to the stage for karaoke in the Squid & Anchor. One of us was told we'd "never be forgotten"... while the other received a standing ovation!
