Creator's Key Takeaways

I think if you pick your spots then you will get places to to sit even on a C day.

I've really enjoyed the ship. I've loved the itinerary. I've loved the cruise in general.

We've had a really good time. What do you think, Dave? Um, I've really enjoyed the ship.

I think they're really unfair. Any negative reviews I've seen before about don't numbers. I don't agree with them.

Creator's Tips & Advice

Pick your spots/locations to find seating on sea days.
Book P&O excursions for peace of mind regarding return times to the ship.

🆕New to Cruising? This Creator Addresses:

Crowds and lack of sunbedsDon't expect empty popular spots like the infinity pool; look for alternative decks or side areas where there is plenty of choice.
Excursion timingUse cruise excursions rather than independent ones to ensure you are back on time.

About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description

What is a sea day really like on the UK’s largest cruise ship? With over 5,000 passengers onboard P&O Arvia, we wanted to find out whether sea days are calm, crowded… or somewhere in between. In this video, we take you along for two full sea days on Arvia, sharing exactly how we spent our time, what felt busy, what felt peaceful, and whether it’s worth planning your day in advance or just going with the flow. We start our first sea day the best way possible, breakfast on the balcony, watching the ocean roll by. From there, we explore the ship, grab lunch at the Keel & Cow, enjoy drinks at the Sunset Bar, and even manage to find a quiet hot tub with no one else in it (yes, it is possible on a ship this size!). The evening brings formal night, where we show you the experience in the main dining room, from the atmosphere to the food and service. Our second sea day has a completely different vibe. We keep things casual checking out poolside pizza, lunch in the diner, and even check out the dance lessons happening onboard. We slow things down in the afternoon with a classic afternoon tea in the main dining room, before heading back to... you guessed it, another peaceful hot tub at sunset. We also take you through the disembarkation process, including the letter we received and what it actually means for getting off the ship. That evening, we return to the main dining room for dinner, explore the buzzing atrium entertainment, and finish the night by checking out The Limelight Club and the theatre, where we watch The Privateers. So… are sea days on P&O Arvia total chaos, or can you still find calm moments on a ship this big? We share our honest experience, practical tips, and what we’d do differently next time perfect if you’re planning a cruise on Arvia or any large cruise ship. 0:00 - 01:03 Introduction 01:03 - 02:18 Balcony breakfast 02:18 - 03:41 Sunset Bar 03:41 - 04:49 Keel and Cow Lunch 04:49 - 05:30 Soft Play 05:30 - 07:02 Infinity hot tub 07:02 - 10:30 MDR formal night 10:30 - 12:24 Round-up 12:24 - 15:45 Next day..full cruise review 15:45 - 18:25 Sea Day Stroll - poolside pizza 18:25 - 21:00 Lunch in Diner 21:00 - 21:30 Dance lessons 21:30 - 22:40 Buffet afternoon tea 22:40 - 22:53 Sunset hot tub 22:53 - 25:04 Disembarkation letter & process 25:04 - 25:50 MDR dinner 25:50 - 26:56 Atrium entertainment 26:56 - 28:21 The Privateers, The Limelights 28:21 - 28:53 Coming next
