Welcome to our Skopje travel vlog! 🇲🇰 If you're looking for the ultimate North Macedonian city break itinerary, you're in the right place. We're taking you along as we explore the very best things to do in the capital. We kick off our adventure right in the city centre at Macedonia Square and the massive Warrior on a Horse statue (not Alexander the Great!) before crossing the Stone Bridge to wander through the Old Bazaar. It's a brilliant spot to soak up the local atmosphere! After that, we hike up to the Skopje Fortress for some amazing views over the city. We then head back to the Old Bazaar and stop by the beautiful Mustafa Pasha Mosque, the biggest mosque in Skopje. The architecture in Skopje is completely unique so we spend some time admiring the Macedonia Gate and Warrior Park. We then take a stroll across the famous Art Bridge and the Bridge of Civilisations. There's a lot of statues! You'll also get a fantastic look inside the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle which was a massive highlight of our trip. It was really interesting to learn about the history of North Macedonia and its place in the story of the Balkans. To wrap up our itinerary, we check out the Government Building of North Macedonia and the stunning Cathedral of St Clement of Ohrid. We then finish off our tour by passing the Feudal Tower and visiting the Mother Teresa Memorial House. We end the vlog with our honest review of Skopje to help you decide if it's the right holiday spot for you! We'd definitely recommend a city break in Skopje.
