Following on from its earlier cruise around the docks, SS "Shieldhall" ran another down Southampton Water and back again - in order to view the five cruise ships that were in port sailing out on their respective cruises. The ships departed in the following order... - "Aurora" (P&O Cruises) departed from the 'QEII' Terminal at 16:35 heading on a 13-night cruise to Norway & the Arctic Circle with the first Port of Call being Olden. - "Emerald Princess" (Princess Cruises) departed from the 'Ocean' Terminal at 16:37 heading on a 11-night cruise to the Mediterranean and the Canary Islands with the first Port of Call being Las Palmas. - "Independence of the Seas" (Royal Caribbean International) departed from the 'City' Terminal at 16:36 heading on a 14-night cruise to the Mediterranean Cities with the first Port of Call being Malaga. - "Oceana" (P&O Cruises) departed from the 'Mayflower' Terminal at 16:40 heading on a 14-night cruise to Spain, Sardinia & Italy with the first Port of Call being La Corunna. - "Balmoral" (Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines) departed from Berth 102 at 17:05 heading on a 14-night cruise to Iceland and Norway with the first Port of Call being Reykjavik. Also features the departure of SS "Shieldhall" prior to the Cruise Ships' departures and later returning after the departure of "Balmoral". Viewed from Town Quay.
