From the port of Richard's Bay, South Africa, we visited St. Lucia Wetlands Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Park housing crocodiles and hippopotamus. This is an estuary that flows to the ocean. We didn't see a crocodile, though the boat captain said he saw one. We did see a lot of hippos, including babies! They tend to hang around together so we saw a couple big groups. We also saw yellow weaver birds that nest in the area. From the ship, we watched Vervet Monkeys play in the industrial port area. It was a relaxing boat ride even in the rain. #hippo #stluciawetlandspark #africansafari Copyright Free Music from https://www.bensound.com/
