Carnival Cruise Platinum members trying our first Royal Cruise!!! We tried to do a similar itinerary twice but Hurricane Maria and the Covid cancelled them both and Carnival doesn't do this itinerary anymore. Second day and second stop. We've all been to St Martin before and we thought we would try something different. I went for a run from the port to Fort Amsterdam while Jess and the kids rented a car and picked me up. We then drove to Baie Rouge, tough to find the parking but finally we made it! One of the most beautiful and remote beaches around, not many people but enough. Great waves, sand and colors! We also saw a sea arch and knew we had to get there. I swam there with some random guy first...so awesome that Jess and Nina went for it too! After a while, we needed some food, so we headed to Maho Beach for some old time fun! So busy but worth doing for an hour or two. Saw some awesome planes! Back on board for dinner, a juggler and a puzzle! All video done by iphone or GoPro.
