Star of the Seas arrived in St Maarten at the busy Philipsburg cruise port! Friends were staying in St Maarten for the week and invited us to hang out at Orient Beach for the day. They sent a driver who picked us up and gave us a scenic ride to Orient Beach! St Maarten is two countries, the port is on the Dutch side and Orient beach is on the French side. No passport needed as you drive back and forth between the borders! Parts of Orient beach are clothing optional so don't be surprised if you see a person or two in their birthday suit!
