**As the Carnival Encounter the interior decorations will be different but general layout of the ship will remain the same.** This is a quick look at Princess Cruises' Star Princess. For a look at a balcony cabin: https://youtu.be/RJP7yuKOOq8 #carnivalencounter #carnivalcruise #portmonkeys This was recorded in November 2018. The Star was built in 2002 and last refurbished in 2017 (it still needs more work). The Star Princess is 109,000 tons and carries about 2600 passengers. The ship has a great crew, including the captain, who is very entertaining. Our cabin Air conditioner and refrigerator did not work correctly. Other parts of the ship seemed old and rundown too.
