Sunday 10th September 2023 Day 9 of the British Isles Discovery 10-Day Cruise on Ambience. Arrival at Guernsey and I'm up pre-dawn again. Another tender port at Port St Peter and our first booked half-day excursion in the form of a coach trip Island tour incorporating stops at The Little Chapel, Pleinmont Pointand the restored German gun battery, then stopped off for refreshments at the Guernsey Pearl before a drive around the west coast passing some of Guernsey’s favourite beaches including Cobo Bay and Pembroke Bay, finally finishing with a scenic drive through the heart of St Peter Port.
