Sunset Quay AMAZING Guest House Rental in Rarotonga, Cook Islands • Nov 2023

I couldn't believe how spacious this amazing house rental was in Rarotonga, with beautiful sunsets every night, viewed from our terrace / lanai, the pool, the massive yard, or right from the beach. We went into the house, expecting it to be somewhat 'rustic' or 'older' and were all pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness & cleanliness of the home. Great appliances, from the gas stove to the dish washer to the clothes washer & dryer - everything you need, plus a propane BBQ outside! Our hosts, Lara & Carla, were fabulous. Checking in on us very rarely, but always available for any questions we might have. Staff members Sisi & Mesake were also very helpful and came in to clean every 3 days & change the linens and change/make the beds once per week. There is also a broom & a very cool (& expensive!) Dyson hand vacuum, which is great for clearing breakfast toast crumbs. The TV had many channels and you could log into your Netflix, Amazon Prime, or YouTube channel and watch everything from home. With their free & extremely fast WiFi throughout the house, we had tons of devices going and had no issues uploading or downloading items. Nearby, enjoy the Pacific Fish & Chips shop, the Falafel Shack, or the ever-so-popular breakfast place, The Beluga Cafe. A little bit farther along, you'll find the Castaways (aka Wilson's) Bar to the north and Shipwrecks (aka Aro'a Beachside Resort) to the south. (Both are within 12-minute's walking distance). There's also a gas station just a few minutes' farther down the road, where they sell alcohol, food, snacks, and ice cream. The Clockwise & Anti-clockwise bus runs by the house throughout the day, or you can rent a car or scooter to get around. Overall, I would definitely recommend this house rental!
