Two polar bear sightings in one day aboard National Geographic Resolution, deep in Svalbard pack ice. Day Four began after a late night watching our first polar bear, so we allowed ourselves a slower start with a later breakfast in Two Seven Zero. The morning brought lectures on walruses and Arctic explorers in the Ice Lounge, but it was the afternoon that delivered the real drama, with not one but two more bear sightings before the day was done.
