We are soaking up the last little bit of summer because the temperatures are changing and fall is on the horizon. Lake Lanier was created in 1956 when Buford Dam was built on the Chattahoochee River. With over 38,000 acres of water and 692 miles of shoreline, Lake Lanier is one of Georgia’s most popular lakes for fishing, boating, and recreation. 🌊 The lake is home to a variety of fish species, including largemouth bass, spotted bass, striped bass, and catfish. Although I didn't catch any bass, I've fished this lake all my life and I have a few Bass Fishing Tips for you: Focus on early morning and late afternoon for the best bass activity. Use crankbaits, topwater lures, and soft plastics for different fishing conditions.
