That moment when your cruise ship comes into full view. 🥰 Carnival Splendor water shuttle, Belize.
YouTube Video Description↓
Belize City, Belize isn’t your typical cruise port as it doesn’t have a pier for ships to dock due to the shallowness of the ocean and the reef system. As a results, cruise ships have to “park” in the ocean and send water tenders (also referred to as water taxi or water shuttle) from ship to shore. This 10-15 minute transport can provide some of the absolute best views of your cruise ship! This water shuttle ride from the Carnival Splendor in 2017 shows the cruise ship in her pre-transformation status. You can see her single water slide when the ship comes into full view, but many of her other changes are invisible from this vantage point. Check out our Carnival Splendor Transformation video for some close ups and comparisons between the original Carnival Splendor and the post-dry dock version of the ship. For now, enjoy this small sail away from ship in Belize! Clip date: December 13, 2017
