The 5Z85 Locomotive & Coach Movement with No.34067 "Tangmere" - 10/10/2012

Thursday 11th October will see the second and last run of the Railway Touring Company's 'Swanage Belle' excursions of 2012. Once again the motive power is to be BR 'Britannia'-class 4-6-2 No.70013 "Oliver Cromwell" working the London to Swanage leg with SR unrebuilt 'Battle of Britain'-class 4-6-2 No.34067 "Tangmere" working the return. Today (Wednesday 10th), "Tangmere" & Support Coach made their way down to Swanage from Southall via Andover and Romsey before changing ends of the coach at Southampton and proceeding down through Brockenhurst, Bournemouth and Wareham turning onto the Swanage Railway after that. Here the Positioning Movement is seen passing chimney-first at Redbridge having come down from Romsey before passing tender-first through Totton from Southampton.
