The 'BATH SPA EXPRESS' with No.70000 "Britannia" - 17/08/2011

The second of the 'Torbay Express Ltd.'s 'Bath Spa Express' excursions from Poole to Bath and Bristol on Wednesday 17th August 2011. This was the first of two excursions to pass through the Southampton area on this day. BR 'Britannia'-class 4-6-2 No.70000 "Britannia" is seen racing towards Totton with the outward run. Unfortunately, "Britannia" ran short of water on the return journey and was stopped at Warminster.
