This St Croix cruise port day turned into an absolute GEM and most cruisers sail right past it. We're on Day 6 of Rhapsody of the Seas, we skipped the cruise ship excursions and found a farm-to-bottle distillery and a beachfront spot that became one of our favorite port days of the whole trip. First up: Prosperity. A historic 1700s plantation and the only farm to bottle distillery on the island. We toured the grounds, dug into some wild island history, and tasted spirits made straight from the sugar cane growing right there (yes, we tried it fresh from the vat 😳). Then we headed to Rhythms, right on the water, for the kind of laid-back beach vibe you dream about on a cruise day... plus a surprise run-in with one of our rockers who follows us all the way from the Virgin Islands. What a blessing. 🙏 The whole day took about 3 and a half hours and saved us a lot of money.
