The 'CATHEDRAL'S EXPRESS' with No.70000 "Britannia" - 10/12/2011

BR 'Britannia'-class 4-6-2 No.70000 "Britannia" ran its last excursion of 2011 on Saturday 10th December. The trip was a 'Steam Dreams' 'Cathedral's Express' from Southend Central via the Gosple Oak line from Barking to Gospel Oak and through London down to Eastleigh with the main destination being Winchester. In this video, we see "Britannia" passing through South Tottenham on the outward journey. Later, the 'Brit' returns to Southend passing through Blackhorse Road. Following this tour, "Britannia" went to Crewe from Southall on Sunday 11th for winter maintainance and repainting into BR Brunswick Green. Although I didn't film it, but my Dad and I then by pure luck saw the train pass back through Walthamstow heading for Southall at around midnight. We'd been to see a local band nearby.
