The 2015 'GREAT BRITAIN' multi-day railtour began on Tuesday 28th April and was to turn out to be one of only two days featuring steam-haulage due to the ongoing problems following the suspension of West Coast Railways. DB Shenker were drafted in for Days 1 and 2 to operate BR 'Britannia'-class 4-6-2 No.70000 "Britannia" from London Victoria to Exeter St Davids on Day 1 and then from Plymouth to Bristol Temple Meads on Day 2. Diesel assistance was provided by EWS Class 66 'Shed' Co-Co No.66122.
