Planning a cruise from Southampton but not sure where to stay the night before? In this video, I tested one of the top-rated pre-cruise hotels in Southampton. The Holiday Inn , Herbert walker Way. For me it is the perfect choice. The Holiday Inn Southampton offers well appointed rooms to convenient amenities including an onsight gym, restaurant and bar. What i loved most about this hotel was the location. It is a few minutes walk from City Cruise terminal and about a 15 minute walk from Mayflower Terminal so you could leave the hotel and walk it , if you didnt have much luggage of course, which I didnt as I was cruising on MSC Virtuosa for a 2 night short break. The Holiday Innn chain also offer a cruise and stay package too which is great value, offering Car parking, Bed and breakfast and a one way taxi service to your cruise ship. So whether you're sailing with P&O Cruises, Princess Cruises, Royal Caribbean, or another cruise line, this hotel could be the perfect place to rest your head before your cruise. Let me know in the comments if you too have a hidden gem of a pre cruise hotel that you would recommend. Have you stayed at the Holiday Inn and what was your experience ? I look forward to your comments.
