After an absence of around 14 months, the Eastleigh Lakeside Steam Railway's youngest locomotive - SR rebuilt 'Merchant Navy'-class 4-6-2 No.35004 "Cunard White Star" returned to service on Saturday 3rd November 2018. Whilst the 10-1/4 inch scale 'MN' was operating the Main Service of the day, a second service was run in the morning by the University of Southampton's BE Bo-Bo No.3221 Eurostar and later by 'Tinkerbell'-class 0-4-2T No.14 "Tinkerbell" after it had completed some Light-Engine Test Runs. A Diesel Training Train was also out with ELR DH Bo-Bo No.D1994 "Eastleigh". Shots featured in this video are as follows... - Eurostar departs from Eastleigh Parkway - 35004 "Cunard White Star" departs Eastleigh Parkway and climbs away from the Tunnel - D1994 "Eastleigh" on the Back Straight and Tunnel Approach with the Driver Training Special - 14 "Petunia" approaches Monks Brook Halt and The Tunnel on a 'Light-Engine' Test Run - 35004 "Cunard White Star" approaches and departs from Monks Brook Halt - D1994 "Eastleigh" on the loop at Monks Brook with the Driver Training Special. - 14 "Petunia" on the Back Straight and exiting The Tunnel - 35004 "Cunard White Star" accelerates away from the restriction on the Back Straight and on approach to the Corner Crossing - 14 "Petunia" passes Corner Crossing and climbs the bank on approach to Eastleigh Parkway
