Creator's Key Takeaways
This hotel cost only £4 a night. Can you believe it? That's the price of a Starbucks.
Despite the rain and gray sky, this place was breathtaking. I look scruffy, but never mind. And Oh my god. The closer I am, the more beautiful it looks.
I would not say the seasoning gets the sale of approval. So we filled up on rice instead.

We are back with the next chapter of my Nepal travel series, and this time, we are hitting the open road for the ultimate family road trip! Join me, my brother Biki (doing an amazing job as my unpaid camera intern!), and the family as we travel from Kathmandu through Chitwan, Pokhara, and finish up in the gorgeous town of Bandipur to show you the real Nepal. From driving through mountain roads that look straight out of Top Gear to cooking seasoned goat meat and corn on the cob right on the side of the road with our portable hob, this journey is full of surprises. We tackle terrifyingly busy suspension bridges at Devghat, share a beautiful family ritual to honor my grandpa, and squeeze into a £2 Tempo (Tuktuk) ride. Things get wild when we head into Chitwan National Park for a jungle safari to look for tigers, meet a trained elephant named Toolay, and explore an abandoned wildlife camp that feels exactly like Jurassic Park! Then, it's off to Pokhara where we check into a resort that costs only £4 a night (yes, the price of a Starbucks!) before racing up the steps of Sarangkot to catch a breathtaking sunrise over the Himalayas. We also take a therapeutic boat ride across Fewa Lake to visit the hidden Tal Barahi Temple, marvel at Devil's Falls, and I finish the trip getting a full princess treatment in traditional Rai community clothing in Bandipur! Nepal has a surprise around every single corner, and I am so excited to share this raw, beautiful journey with you.
