About our Bacon Score methodologyYouTube Video Descriptionβ
The internet is chock full of all kinds of ahistorical garbage, especially as regards Titanic and her story. AI has only made the problem worse - but a couple of years ago, even before AI slop was as widespread as it is today, I was shocked to discover an article which confused and conflated Titanic's history so badly. Of course I know now that this article was AI-generated (it must have been...right??) but when I shot this back in 2023 I had no idea. Still, I am perplexed now as I was then! This video was hosted on my old 'Mike Brady' channel but has since been pulled as that channel has turned into @WarshipDesigns . I am rehousing it here so newer viewers of Oceanliner Designs can learn such terms as "bin juice" and "supercruise liner". Enjoy :) Oceanliner Designs explores the design, construction, engineering and operation of historyβs greatest vesselsβ from Titanic to Queen Mary and from the Empress of Ireland to the Lusitania. Join maritime researcher and illustrator Michael Brady as he tells the stories behind some of history's most famous ocean liners and machines!
