This “Adult Only” Cruise Was The Worst Cruise I’ve Ever Taken | Virgin Voyages

Key Moments
Editorial Summary
The creator shares a negative experience regarding a recent sailing on the Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady. While noting that the cruise line remains one of his favorites, he details several logistical and service failures encountered during the trip. The issues began with a lost luggage incident at Port Miami, where management suggested the creator had mistakenly handed his bag to an attendant from a different cruise line. This was followed by cabin maintenance problems, including a broken shower door and water leaking from the ceiling. The creator expresses frustration with the response from staff, noting that management interactions felt like interrogations regarding the cabin damage rather than attempts to rectify the situation. Additionally, he mentions discrepancies with the brand loyalty program and inconsistencies in scheduled onboard entertainment and events. Despite these setbacks, the creator concludes that the cruise line has potential if they address these organizational kinks and listen to passenger feedback.
