The Casa Costera Isla Verde Beach, Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy is a really great option for your extra nights in Puerto Rico, pre- or post-cruise! The location is excellent, with lots of restaurants and coffee shops within easy walking distance, and thereβs a grocery store just 15 minutesβ walk from the hotel, where you can pick up some room snacks and wine or beer. All of the rooms at Casa Costera are kitchenettes, so you can do all your own cooking, if you prefer, or there is a rooftop bar that also serves food. From the hotel, an Uber to downtown San Juan and the cruise ship terminal was about US $20 and to the airport was US $12. The beach is just a block away and there are a few casinos you could enjoy in the evening - one at the nearby Fairmont hotel.
