No sightseeing tour of St. Kitts is complete without a stop at Timothy Hill. The view is wonderful and a great photo opportunity that we did not missed. From this lookout, as the cruise visitor has the rare chance to view the meeting of the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. In between, stands the island of St. Kits with its lush foliage, sloping hills, beautiful coastline and Nevis close by. Because of the popularity of this spectacular sightseeing spot it was a bit crowded. But we have a great time here. And also, The Historical Town of Basseterre is a Must See. Right outside the Port Zante Terminal area, cruise travelers will encounter a number of historical landmarks that are open for visitors, such as the two main churches of the city - St. George Anglican Church and the Immaculate Conception Catholic Co-Cathedral. The squares (the Circus and Independence Square in particular) and streets of the Old Town are a delight to enjoy on a leisurely walk.
