TIPS ON THE BEST DAY On Grand Canyon Railway Train EXCURSION to the South Rim! COACH or LUXURY?

The Grand Canyon Railway is taking us to the Grand Canyon Village on the south rim! We travel first class in the famous Fred Harvey Dome Car where panoramic windows, breathtaking Arizona scenery, and a few Bloody Marys make the ride just as fun as the destination itself. Along the way there’s live entertainment, Wild West vibes, and nonstop views across northern Arizona. Once we arrive at historic Grand Canyon Village, the adventure really begins. We duck into the legendary El Tovar Hotel to escape a rainstorm with a cold beer before taking a short hike down the famous Bright Angel Trail for jaw-dropping canyon views. Then we step back in time inside the historic Bright Angel Lodge where we learn about Fred Harvey, the Harvey Girls, and how they helped shape travel across the American Southwest. Of course, no history lesson is complete without another stop at the cocktail lounge for a cold beer and a local bison burger while the rain rolls across the canyon. 🍺🌧️ Just when we think the adventure is winding down, the ride back to Williams takes an unexpected turn with a surprise train robbery by some Wild West bandits! 🤠💰 Back in Williams, we finish the night exploring the glowing neon streets of historic Route 66, where classic signs, diners, and old-school Americana light up downtown in a red neon glow straight out of another era.
