We stopped at La Goulette cruise port in Tunis, Tunisia on our MSC Grandiosa cruise in the Mediterranean, excited about visiting Tunisia for the first time. The area where ships dock in Tunis is called La Goulette cruise port. While you won't be able to walk to the Medina of Tunis or Downtown Tunis from here, taxis are readily available when you get off the cruise ship. We recommend an excursion like the Grand Tour of Tunis cruise excursion that we did. Our cruise excursion took us to some of the top tourist sights in Tunis. We started with a visit to the bustling Medina of Tunis, a UNESCO World Heritage site, before exploring the ancient Roman city of Carthage. We then visited Ksar Saïd Palace and finished our tour in the stunning blue and white village of Sidi Bou Said, which was absolutely beautiful! Overall, we really enjoyed our stop in La Goulette cruise port and our day in Tunis, Tunisia. It's a lovely city with some truly great things to see and do!
