YouTube Video Description

If you only have one day in Yellowstone National Park and want the best stops, watch this video! We have 7 of the best stops along the south loop of the Yellowstone National Park. We show you waterfalls, bison, hot springs and much more. This trip is really special to us as we are with Deb and Joel from @ChasingOurSunshine . Joel and Deb drive us around the south loop on day one and we have lots of fun with them for the next week as we explore Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. Be sure to watch Deb and Joel @ChasingOurSunshine as they are full-time RV'ers traveling around the United States! We are staying at the Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in West Yellowstone, Montana. This is a great place to park your RV to use as a base camp to explore Yellowstone National Park as it is located right at the west gate to the park. The entrance is only a few minutes away and starts you off right towards the center of the park. It makes an easy way to explore each loop of the park. The South Loop of Yellowstone National Park offers some of the park's most iconic sights. Here's a few of the key attractions and activities in this area: Old Faithful - One of the park's most famous geysers, erupting roughly every 90 minutes. - Visit the Old Faithful Visitor Education Center for geyser prediction times and exhibits. - Explore nearby geysers on the Upper Geyser Basin trails, including Grand Geyser, Castle Geyser, and Riverside Geyser. Grand Prismatic Spring (Midway Geyser Basin) - The largest hot spring in the U.S., known for its vivid rainbow colors. - Walk the boardwalk for a close-up view or hike the Fairy Falls Trail for an aerial perspective. Mud Volcano Area - Features acidic hot springs and mud pots like Dragon’s Mouth Spring and the bubbling Mud Cauldron. Things to Do Wildlife Watching: Keep binoculars handy for spotting animals in Hayden Valley or along the road. -Hiking: Short trails like the boardwalks at geyser basins or longer hikes like Fairy Falls. Picnicking: Scenic spots abound near Yellowstone Lake or quieter areas along the loop. Driving the Loop Distance: Approximately 96 miles for the South Loop. Time Required: Plan for at least 4-6 hours if you’re driving without extensive stops, but a full day is ideal to explore. Tips: - Start early to avoid crowds. - Check road conditions and seasonal closures. The Old Faithful Inn, located near the famous Old Faithful Geyser in Yellowstone National Park, is a historic and architectural marvel with a fascinating history. Construction and Design Built:1903-1904 Architect: Robert Reamer, known for his creative and rustic designs that blend with natural landscapes. Purpose: The inn was commissioned by the Northern Pacific Railway to accommodate the growing number of tourists visiting Yellowstone. Cultural and Historical Significance Historic Designation: Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973 and designated as a National Historic Landmark in 1987. Cultural Impact: Recognized as one of the largest log structures in the world and an inspiration for park architecture nationwide. #yellowstonenationalpark #rvlife #rvliving #rvtravel #rv #oldfaithful #grandprismaticspring Our Equipment: GoPro5 : https://amzn.to/3W706JP GoPro10 : https://amzn.to/3JoNRRt Nikon Z30 : https://amzn.to/4d2bOvo Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra DJI Mini 2 Our Software and Subscription Services: https://share.epidemicsound.com/cyumoq Adobe Premier Pro Adobe Photoshop Adobe Illustrator 🎉🎈🥳Please subscribe to our channel to stay in touch so we can share what we are up to!🐕🌋🌅 https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYptpWdN5KNCq5pwdvGNrhQ?sub_confirmation=1 Website: www.justramblinaround.com Facebook: Just Ramblin Around Instagram: @justrambinaround Email: jrawithronandjodi@gmail.com ****About**** Hi Ramblers! We are Ron & Jodi; we want to share with you our RV travels in the Pacific Northwest. We RV up and down Washington and Oregon's scenic coastline and explore the east side of the Cascade Mountain Range enjoying the high desert. We have lots to show you around in our own backyard to include our national & state parks in Washington and Oregon. The best thing about owning an RV is that no matter where you go, you are always home. Still working full time and living residentially in the Pacific Northwest, we will take extended RV vacations outside the PNW. We have been to California and Nevada and have traveled east to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. When we take a break from the RV lifestyle we travel to beautiful Hawaii and hop aboard luxurious cruise ships destined for Alaska and the Caribbean. We take you on our vacations for an immersive travel experience. There are many videos to watch and help you decide how to spend your time in the PNW and beyond!
