Universal's Endless Summer Surfside Inn & Suites! | *Opening Day* Tour and First Impressions!

We had a totally tubular and righteous day! We are at Universal Orlando Resort checking out their newest hotel option, Endless Summer Surfside Inn & Suites! Endless Summer will be a two part resort. What we are touring on opening day is the Surfside section. The second section will be “Dockside”, which is currently expected to open in the summer of 2020. What is unique about Endless Summer is that this will be Universal’s most economic on-property hotel option. This resort is also the furthest away from the theme parks. Endless Summer is located on the opposite side of I-4 from the remainder of the Universal Resort area. Therefore, this is the first Universal onsite hotel that you will be unable to walk to the theme parks from. Endless Summer does offer a complimentary shuttle bus to and from the City Walk/Parking Garage entrance, as well as another shuttle that will take you to Universal’s waterpark, Volcano Bay. Today we rode the bus from City Walk to show the process of using and locating the Endless Summer shuttle. When we arrived at Endless Summer Surfside, we toured all of the public spaces, including the main lobby, gift shop, Beach Break Cafe, Starbucks, and pool area. There are some areas of the resort that would normally be required to have a room key to access, such as the fitness center and the arcade. However, these areas were open for opening day, so we were able to tour these locations as well! We also took time to check out the parking garage to show daily parking prices, as well as show the surprisingly good theme park views from the top third level! We concluded our tour by having lunch at the Beach Break Cafe and taking the shuttle bus back to City Walk. We were very impressed with the fun theming and comfortable vibe of this resort.
