Creator's Key Takeaways
Okinawa is the largest island of Okinawa Prefecture Japan's southernmost region
all of these t-shirts commemorate the Japanese which is understandable because Organa okay now well it's Japanese but what they did to the enemy meaning us the Australians US Marines Air Force soldiers is beyond man's inhumanity to man
I think that was more interesting than this it's still interesting of course this is all from the Japanese side of history what can I tell you
we are going to be taking an excursion called the Battle of Okinawa

We take the Optional "The Battle of Okinawa" excursion which visits the former headquarters of Japan's navy, Peace Memorial Park, and Himeyuri Monument. All of these sights are important but Japanese biased since Okinawa is a Japanese Island and not what we hoped to see; since this last major World War II battle was one of the bloodiest for approximately 180,000 United States Marine and Army troops. Too bad "Hacksaw Ridge" wasn't included in the excursion. I think this is a Viking oversight and the Japanese bunkers on Rabaul (video at end of this one) was much more interesting. Part 2 of this video will appear tomorrow... September/October 2019
