"Viking Star" maiden arrival into Southampton Docks - 03/05/2017

For the past two years, CruiseTimetables have mistakenly listed ships from Viking Ocean Cruises as visiting Southampton when in fact they've actually ended up at Greenwich on the River Thames. In 2017 however this changed as two cruise ships from the company finally made their debuts in Southampton - "Viking Sea" on Thursday 27th April and "Viking Star" on Wednesday 3rd May. Unfortunately I wasn't able to see "Viking Sea" when she visited Southampton, but I was able to catch the arrival of "Viking Star" on the morning of May 3rd. She arrived at around 6am and docked at the City Cruise Terminal. Viewed from the Town Quay and Mayflower Park.
