We’re finishing up our day on board with some night life on the ship. Fun fact, did you know the stores on the ship can only be open when we’re not at port? We didn’t and wish we would have tonight. We tried 2 more flavors from Lick me Til Ice Scream. Strawberry Milkshake and Chocolate Giarduiatta. The Strawberry was light and tasted like a soft Strawberry. The Chocolate was rich and delicious. Still loved the Passion Fruit the best so far. After that we headed to the “UNTITLED DANCESHOWPARTYTHING”. This has gotten a lot of mixed reviews and in all honesty it’s a little out there. That’s not a negative though because as former dancers, we completely understood what they were doing. The dancing was amazing, the music & concept were really innovative, they made it an immersive experience and it was BRILLIANT!!!! It really dives into what our society has become, the norms, social influences and really just putting it in an abstract way. Also, they celebrate all body types and that’s something you rarely see. On a lot of cruise lines or professional dance companies you have to be in stereotypical “extremely good shape” and have a certain look. On Virgin they completely smash that stereotype and it’s one of the reasons we love them!!! After this we hit up the after party “The Heartbeat”, which was a super fun dance party. You can see Val and a few other of the main Happening Cast. We were pretty tired but wanted some food. We headed to the Pizza Place and grabbed 2 pizzas. They were pretty quick at getting them out and we’re really delicious. Simple and not too crazy. You have to give it a try when you’re on board. That concludes our 2nd day on board!
