Visit Colorado in the Fall! Enjoy the fall colors and animal spotting. The weather in the mountains is generally up to 70’s during the day, 40’s at night and dry. It can snow however, so check the forecast before heading out. Layer your clothes and expect the unexpected. Fall is a very active time for animals, and mating season for some. Keep your eyes out and distance from the wildlife. Common to see Elk, Deer, Blue Jays, Hawks, Squirrels and Chipmunks Less common to see Moose, Bear, Bobcats, Mountain Lions, Bald Eagles, Fox and Coyotes.
