Creator's Key Takeaways
I'm getting an MSC cruise and it leaves from Horizon.
So, very simple walk. You don't really need a taxi unless you've got a lot of luggage.
I'm so impressed with how quick that walk was.
I hope you've uh found that useful. Definitely. I'm so surprised how easy it was.

About our Bacon Score methodologyYouTube Video Descriptionβ
I was arriving by train into Southampton Central railway station and needed to get to the Horizon Port. I had considered my different options such as walk, bus or taxi but as i was only pulling one small case and a backpack i decided having seen that it was an approximate 10min walk i decided to give it a go. This video records that walk and shows you the complete journey and terrain. It is very flat and easy with just a couple of road crossings. The entire walk takes an easy 10mins. Hope this is helpful to you. #walk #walking #southampton #central #railwaystation #train #railway #cruise #ports #horizon #msc #city #terrain #route #easy #10minutes #suitcase #coffee #dunelm #toilets One small tip, if you arrive during shop opening times then just across the road from railway station is Dunelm. Dunelm has a really good Pausa cafe and much quieter toilets than the railway station.
