From the moment we step onboard, the excitement is real as we settle into our stateroom before enjoying a delicious embarkation lunch at Rapunzel's Royal Table—a first for us instead of our usual visit to Cabanas! We watch the Disney Magic sail beneath Vancouver's iconic Lions Gate Bridge, enjoy an unforgettable dinner at Animator's Palate, and are treated to a magical visit from Mickey Mouse dressed as the Sorcerer's Apprentice. After a fantastic night's sleep in Disney Cruise Line's incredibly comfortable beds, we spend our first day at sea learning about Alaska's incredible wildlife during a fascinating whale presentation by naturalist Russel Fielding. While Andrew and our friend Ed sample local brews during a beer tasting, Bec and Karen enjoy a little shopping around the ship. There's plenty of fun along the way as we test our Disney knowledge in Disney Parks Trivia (let's just say... we could've done better! 😂), enjoy a Disney Cruise Line Mixology class, and experience the spectacular Broadway-style production of Twice Charmed: An Original Twist on the Cinderella Story. We finish the day with another wonderful dinner at Rapunzel's Royal Table, complete with Rapunzel's birthday celebration, before heading to bed full of excitement for what many say is the highlight of the entire cruise... ❄️ Glacier Day!
