We discovered the secret speakeasy on Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady and explored La Coruña, Spain on Day 4 of our cruise. On Day 4 of our Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady Celebration Cruise, we docked in La Coruña, Spain. This was our first time visiting, and we explored the port independently, including the beach, the main plaza, and the iconic Tower of Hercules. After a late Scarlet Night the evening before, we woke up earlier than planned due to the ship’s time not moving forward. We started the day by relaxing in the spa before heading to The Wake for a satisfying brunch. Back onboard Scarlet Lady, we enjoyed the sunshine at Richard’s Rooftop before getting ready for the evening. We had dinner at The Wake and were given one of the best tables on the ship. Later, we discovered the secret speakeasy in a hidden location onboard, where we enjoyed drinks and entertainment. We then headed to the Red Room to watch the show Dual Reality. The performers were incredible, although the overall experience left us a little underwhelmed. We finished the night at On the Rocks enjoying the onboard band before heading into The Manor for the 80s-themed party.
