We have been to Royal Caribbean's private island, Perfect Day at Coco Cay, many times... but NEVER like this! If anyone is wondering if cruising is back, just watch this! There are two ships holding about 4500 guests each - they are at full capacity - at this island which is about 9000 people total! It was so busy!! It was hard to find lounge chairs, but we did, and we had a great time! The island was designed to hold these crowds and it did a good job. All I can say is when it is 'melt your face off hot' in the Bahamas... just get into the cool water! It felt amazing in the ocean and I didn't want to get out! Once back on the ship, we had dinner at Chops Grill, which is usually very good but fell flat this time.
