We are loving our Alaska cruise on Norwegian Joy and today we are sailing into Juneau. What is great is that you arrive in the afternoon, so you have a slow, beautiful morning as you sail in and have humpback whales all around you! Once docked, we pop into the Red Dog Saloon for a Duck Fart Shot and then meet up with the excursion to go to Mendenhall Glacier. This excursion was perfect, called Mendenhall Explorer, as it takes you to the glacier and drops you off for 3 hours. I loved this so we can explore on our own! There are three trails and we took them all! We hiked to Nugget Falls, a massive waterfall, and Steep Creek Trail to see wildlife. And we lucked up and saw a mama bear with three cubs!!!! As well as salmon swimming in the creek! What an incredible day!! The next day, we are at Hubbard Glacier, which is the largest glacier in Alaska and we had the perfect view from our hot tub in Vibe Beach Club... yes!
