We have not gotten off the ship in the last few cruises in Nassau... so we decided to go check it out. The port looks sooo different! They have built all new docks for the cruise ships as well as yachts, etc. They have moved the vendors out of the port area into a special vendor area but the straw market is still in place. We wandered around... on a very hot summer day, and decided we needed some shade and something cold to drink so we headed to Senor Frogs, but we ended up next door as there is a bar floating out in the harbor that looked way more appealing!
