Hmmm, Guaranteed cabins are in simple terms a gamble you can take when booking your cruise. When opting for a guaranteed cabin, you are promised a room in the category you've chosen, but you do not get to choose which cabin. It sounds risky doesn't it, so why do it? Well, there are a few reasons. Sometimes it is cheaper, and you could also get upgraded to a significantly better cabin- if there are any leftover. Still, getting stuck with a bad cabin is a real possibility, and even if you are lucky and score an upgrade, you may not be pleased with the location. So, plan carefully, and understand the risk.
