I love cruising - I think it is one of the best holidays you can have, when you have a disability. You just have the hazzle of packing and getting to the resort one time. Then you unpack once, and wake up to a new destination every morning. It took me a long time to accept to use an accessible cabin - or stateroom - from my fear of being disabled. Yes, a bit unlogical, but I was so terrified of the feeling of beiing in an institution instead of on a luxurious cruise holiday. This short video is of my accessible balcony stateroom at Celebrity Silhouette. It is my second time booking a wheelchair cabin, and this cabin was really wonderful. Beautiful design, spacious and with an amazing balcony. The really nice thing about Celebrity Solstice class is that the balconys are really spacious and deep, and they have these really comfortable reclining chairs - much nicer than the one you find on Edge class - I think. And my previous thoughts about the bathrooms in accessible cabins - that they would be like an institution.... Not this one. The design is really nice, I love the sink and the drawers. And the really nice touch of a tilted mirros, that makes the visual correct when you are sitting. Just love it. #cruise #cruiseship #Accessible #Accessibletravel #accessiblestateroom #accessiblecabin #Cruising #Cruisingwithwheelchair #Celebrity #Celebritycruising #Celebritysolsticeclass #Solsticeclass #Celebritycilhouette #Silhouette #Cruisinginthecarabbean #Carabbeancruise #miami #miamiport #miamicruise #shorts #shortvideo #Shortvideos About Mindscape Mindscape is my channel to share inspiration - to live a good life, even when life does not turn out the way you wanted. I probably had my first MS-attack in 1986, and got diagnosed with Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis (RRMS) in 2001. I did stem cell transplant (HSCT BEAM-protocol) in 2012, but despite that started progressing around 2015. Still, I live a good life, and share my strategies in this channel.
