We hit the top sights and highlights during an excursion to Casablanca and Rabat in Morocco. Made famous from the classic movie, Casablanca is as atmospheric as you would expect as we walked in the new medina area. It is the largest city in Morocco. The capital of Morocco, Rabat, is just as atmospheric and a visit to the Kasbah is a must-do. The new medina in Casablanca offers winding alleyways with stunning architecture and colourful mosaic tiles while the Kasbah of Udayas in Rabat includes residential buildings with unique doors. On our tour, we also visited. Mohammed V Square, Hassan II Mosque built by the current King Mohammed VI for his father Hassan II, Hassan Tower and Mausoleum of Mohammed V and we drove by the seaside and the Royal Palace of Rabat. I'd love to go back and explore some more. If found both places fascinating and enjoyed the visit. #casablanca #casablancacity #morocco #rabat #rabatmorocco #kasbah #medina #casablancanewmedina The area has undergone regeneration in preparation for the 2030 FIFA World Cup matches that will be held in Morocco.
