'Worst day yet.' Lindsay Clancy’s mental health crisis described by psych nurse on day 11 of trial

#lindsayclancy #courtroominsider #eastidahonews It was another revealing day of testimony in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial as jurors heard more about her deteriorating mental health, the medications she was prescribed and the efforts to get her a higher level of psychiatric care in the weeks before her children died. Psychiatric nurse practitioner Rebecca Jollotta walked jurors through weeks of messages, appointments and medication changes. Clancy reported severe depression, crippling anxiety, insomnia and intrusive thoughts, including thoughts of suicide. At one point, she said she had gone 48 hours without sleeping and didn’t feel tired. The defense pressed Jollotta about Clancy’s treatment and the numerous medications she was prescribed. Jurors also heard how Lindsay and her husband, Patrick, repeatedly sought help as her condition worsened.
